What a BEAUTIFUL wedding at Crooked Willow Farms!! Merissa is a corporate event planner and there was not a detail missed with her wedding From the personally embroidered napkins made by Merissa’s mom to the amazing violinist and DJ – I cannot say enough. (complete vendor credit to come) Merissa & Greg are just fun. It is so apparent how much their friends and family mean to them and how committed they are to the important people in their lives. I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know them and documenting this fabulous day!

As promised, a full post from Kelly & Billy’s beautiful Beaver Creek wedding! I truly love how simple and elegant everything was at this wedding. The soft colored bridesmaids dresses with the simple lavender bouquets, Kelly’s extremely elegant and beautiful dress that looked stunning on her, the setting, the burlap on the tables with the touches of lavender and white – love it all. We got a little rain that day but luckily we still got to do most of the pictures outside! The ceremony however had to move to the deck. Nothing phased Kelly & Billy – they moved along without a hitch.

During a wedding day it really is all about the moments and that is why we have photography – to save these moments forever. Many times with my blogs posts I am drawn to the more artistic shots taken in the perfect light and I put less focus on the intimate moments between the bride and groom with each other and all the people that are there for the two of them. I thought Tessa & Gavin’s wedding would be a perfect time to showcase this. From the start, Tessa really just wanted someone there to “document” the wedding day. She was not as focused on a lot of time for pictures of just the 2 of them, but more so the actual events of the day. The wedding was intimate and you could just tell how much Tessa & Gavin value the people in their lives. It was so fitting for the wedding to take place at her parents house where they could welcome everyone in with open arms and share their home. The rain did not stop anyone from having a great time either! So..here are a few “moments” to share

As promised here is a FULL post from Whitney & Justin’s beautiful wedding! It’s long Whitney and Justin are just FUN. They sailed through the day with nothing but huge smiles on their faces. Whitney was always ready for the camera and had fun being a bit silly while maintaining a beautiful bride presence at teh sane time. Her dress was AMAZING! It was a gorgeous 2 piece and she rocked it…which was no surprise to a lot of people b/c her awesome sense of style was brought up in the toasts.

Denver Wedding Photographer – Renee & Keith at Glenmoor Country Club

My first wedding of the season! Excited to be back! Renee & Keith were married on a very “warm” day in June. Since I went 11 days late with having Kieran, this wedding fell 11 days after I had him! I was feeling really good (thankfully) and had a great time getting back behind the camera. I have to say a huge thanks to Melissa with Melissa Beck Photography for coming along and being a second lead shooter and for taking over at the reception, along with my wonderful assistant Chelsey for being a huge help and taking great shots as well that day! I love seeing couples again after their engagement shoots – majority of the time is on the wedding day. I this case, Keith was such a pro in front of the camera and remembered everything from the engagement shoot – he referred to it a couple times and we had a good laugh. Renee & Keith are such enjoyable people that put their trust in their team of vendors and rolled though their wedding day, truly enjoying every moment. Boulder Engagement Photography – Brittany & Maximo!

These two are just ADORABLE. I loved every minute of shooting with them. From the first time they came into the studio to talk, I got such a great vibe – very genuine and happy. During our shoot, I had told Brittany and Max that once we got to the second location, I had to run and use the restroom (being 7.5 months pregnant will do that to you!)…once we both parked at Chautauqua the light was just PERFECT and I told them to race out to the field. Brittany actually said “wait, I don’t want to keep you from the bathroom!” So thoughtful! I’m glad we chased that light down though b/c they are some of my favorite images of the whole day. Their wedding will be this October and I am really looking forward to it! Brittany is going to look STUNNING and Max, I don’t doubt you will look pretty good too Enjoy!
