Denver Children’s & Family Photography – a little bit of this, a little bit of that…

BUSY. That is all I can say. It’s the rush of family pictures before the holidays while still editing and shooting weddings! It’s crazy over here. Since I have been MIA on the BLOG I am doing a generic post to keep everyone a little up to date! Here are a few shots from a handful of the shoots I have been doing lately. I have hopes of being able to BLOG every shoot, with multiple images from each but we will see:)Time is my worst enemy during this time of year. Enjoy!

Trip to St. Louis!

Once a year I venture back to my hometown of St. Louis to take photos for high school friends and family.  We had a great trip this year! I love seeing old friends and watching their families grow. What a special treat to be able to document them! Here are a few images from each shoot – lots of cute kiddos!

Featuring Black Kite Ltd! …what to wear to your next photo shoot!

Last week I had the pleasure of teaming up with Lindsay who owns Black Kite Ltd. I frequently get the question “what to wear” regarding a photo session. Well, if you have little boys and are looking for something a bit more fun, made in Colorado, look no further! It’s time to check out Black Kite Ltd. “bold shirts. confident boys. Made with limited run, brightly colored, 100% cotton woven fabrics, each shirt is created with contrasting thread and a unique pocket note that holds a secret message of inspiration that your boy can wear close to his chest. Created in Colorado by designer Lindsay Black Mangat, Black Kite shirts inspire boys to express their creativity, individuality and their confidence, ultimately allowing their character to “Take Flight.”

From a photographer’s point of view, clothing can really add to the artistic element of a photo. I think these shirts give great personality and also look super cute layered with sweaters or paired up with your favorite hat.

In addition the the website, Black Kite shirts can be found at The Nest children’s clothing boutique in Cherry Creek.
